Turns out that good cycling fitness doesn't translate at all to running. Just wanted to get my heart pumping a bit, and now some of my thigh muscles are close to being non-functional, after not even 5km of slow jogging: https://www.strava.com/activities/1831523082

Spent the morning in the mountains again. This time on a group ride South to the Wulai waterfalls. Panoramic view galore.

Silky smooth roads in the mountains North of Taipei. I think I didn't see a single pot hole on my entire ride. Also, plenty of mirrors to see what's happening around sharp corners. Perfect cycling conditions really.

Taipei's riverside bicycle highways are a great way to get out of the city, far away from the busy roads and the bazillion traffic lights.

The lower level of Daan Park station is so airy and calm.

It's rain season in Taiwan, but every now and then you get a nice blue sky for a couple of days:
