Visited the Tour of Britain's stage 7 in Bristol today and had a good bit of fun. Didn't even know there's such a thing as circuit races in road cycling, but it's certainly great for watching.

Deindl-Alm

Deindl-Alm

Test-drove a Specialized Diverge up Heuberg yesterday. 550m elevation gain with a 13.8℅ average gradient is definitely a bit too harsh on a road bike. However, on gravel and with sane gradients, that thing kicks ass!

Multiple MTB riders just complimented me on kicking this gravel bike up that route. Pretty sure that was a stupid idea.

... still costs ~3 times more than Aldi Talk, of course.

Wait, I just checked again, and it seems new customers actually get LTE. Because why give it to decade-long customers.

Still shocked by the fact that Aldi Talk gives you LTE on o2's German network, whereas o2 refuse to enable it for their own prepaid SIMs.

Riesling Time

As if there are other times in Moselle country.

Köln pressing all my buttons: found place that is salad bar plus 3rd-wave coffee shop combined, laptop-friendly and playing 90s hip-hop.
