Is anyone working on a photo sharing platform for the fediverse already?

"6 reasons why Mastodon won't survive" from April 2017: http://mashable.com/2017/04/05/mastodon-wont-survive/#kPr8akjqpaqV -- featuring 6 reasons that make absolutely no sense whatsoever. Meanwhile, the fediverse has been growing slowly but steadily, day by day, with people deleting more and more birdsite accounts.

People sharing a hack for being able to post 280 chars to their social media account looks so absurd to people on the Fediverse right now.

Any other admins or users of Mastodon, GNU Social, postActiv or other Fediverse software at #sha2017 interested in meeting up during camp?

I'm a bit disappointed in all the good people who started posting on the Fediverse, but went back to posting to birdsite only for no apparent reason.

Started using Mastodon/The Fediverse™ on April 6. Less than two months later, Twitter feels like a cheap, ad-ridden cable TV channel.

Going back from the fediverse to Twitter gets worse every day. Littered with ads and a single corp owns the whole medium. Just feels wrong.
